Dr. Priya Nambisan
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Priya Nambisan brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in technology and innovation within the health care field. She is a Professor at the Joseph J. Zilber College of Public Health at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee (UWM). Dr. Nambisan is also the Founder and Director of Aging Research and Digital Technologies (ARDT) lab and Social Media and Health Research & Training (SMAHRT) Lab at UWM. Dr. Nambisan is also the founder and director of myHESTIA.org, a comprehensive digital self-care support system (CDSSS) for the aging with Multiple Chronic Conditions (MCC). Dr. Nambisan has extensive expertise across several fields, including self-management of MCC, nutrition, behavioral science, applied psychometrics, data analytics, machine learning, and AI. Drawing on this breadth of knowledge, she focuses on developing and testing technology-based solutions that address complex challenges at the intersection of public health, medicine, psychology, and behavioral science.
Ashok Nambisan
Chief Product Officer (CPO)
Ashok is an innovator in digital applications with considerable expertise in dynamic website design, database and server management, and back-end engineering. He has experience in programming languages and development environments such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python, Swift, Objective C, Kotlin, R, and PHP, and is proficient in libraries such as React, React Native, Vue.js, and Socket.IO. Ashok’s primary interest lies at the intersection of technology and public health and much of his work is focused on designing and developing digital platforms to address important health issues and challenges. As CIO of myHealthDigiCare, Ashok designed and built various tools at myHESTIA, including a GenAI project called myHealthLLM. He is also the co-founder of IntergenTEC, a digital intergenerational platform that connects older adults with teen volunteers to address loneliness and social isolation among the elderly. The platform offers in-built meetings that incorporate in-meeting games, interactive features, and other resources to allow teen volunteers to provide effective intergenerational care.
Bharat Nambisan
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Bharat is a creative software expert with a proven track record of developing dynamic websites, apps, games, and more. He has experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Swift, and PHP, and is proficient in frameworks and libraries such as React, React Native, Node.js, and Socket.IO. Bharat is also deeply interested in applications of generative AI and machine learning, and has worked on several side projects involving AI model development using LLMs and Python libraries—one of which is myHealthLLM, a project for myHESTIA. As the CTO of myHealthDigiCare, Bharat co-founded IntergenTEC,a platform designed to address loneliness among older adults by enabling them to connect and socialize with youth and teens through online meetings that include built-in games, interactive features, and more.
